Throughout the 80’s and 90’s, I was a fan of Jeff’s guitar work. Blind since he was a child, Jazz and Blues was his inspiration and he worked hard to become the renowned musician we remember today.

It’s likely I first became aware of him when ‘See the Light’, his first album, was released:
When I watched him play in the movie ‘Roadhouse’, I was fascinated by his unusual method of playing:
Then, in 1990, he released his second LP ‘Hell to pay’ and the #7 track on that was a cover of the Beatles ‘While My Guitar Gently Weeps’ and that was it… he was unforgettable and will always have a special place in my collection.
